* 57.2% Save Rate for "Other" Animals such as small pets and wildlife.
BARC killed or lost 5,596 animals in 2017. That is 15 pets KILLED BY BARC every single day in 2017.

In January, Councilman Boykins announced plans to spend $50,000 for BARC employees to work overtime doing more "sweeps" in neighborhoods in his District.

Out of 79 dogs and cats picked during the sweeps in February, 27 were killed by BARC. There are 5 more animals shown with unknown outcomes. It is likely they were killed as well.
That equates to a 34% to 40% Kill Rate for the animals picked up during CM Boykins sweeps.
